An insight into Maldon’s History
Maldon is home to thousands of years of history: The Chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall (circa 662AD), the Battle of Maldon (991AD) and subsequent Old English poem. As well as innovations in water purification for the Southend Water Company, now known as the Museum of Power, at Langford.
