Maldon Cycling Map
The Maldon Cycling Map from Essex County Council covers both on-road and off-road cycle routes in Maldon and Heybridge. There are several routes to choose from, including the route along the Blackwater Rail Trail, a route along the Chelmer & Blackwater Navigation, a loop around the town which covers the High Street and also routes out of Maldon heading to Chelmsford and Heybridge Basin.
One of the routes listed on the Maldon Cycling Map is part of National Cycle Route 1 which runs from Dover to Shetland, and is 1,695 miles long or 2,728km.

Two Rivers’ Way
Starting in at the heart of one of England’s leading yachting centres, Burnham-on-Crouch. From here, the route heads north to explore the Dengie Peninsula, situated between the River Crouch and the River Blackwater. The route has an optional extension of 25 miles (40km) or shorter version of 12 miles (19km).
The Two Rivers’ Way takes you through Southminster, Asheldham, Tillingham, Bradwell-on-Sea and then through St. Lawrence, Steeple and back down to Burnham-on-Crouch.
