The Maldon Society

23rd to 30th May,  11am to 4pm

Presenting, ‘History of where you live’. See a vast history of the town, events, district and people. Listen to a selection of audio recordings by residents of their life in Maldon from 1930’s.

 

Thames Sailing Barge Trust

28th May,  11am to 4pm

A fun filled day of storytelling in one hour sessions for children aged 7 and over presented by world renowned storyteller Mike Dodsworth.

30th May,  11am to 4pm

This is the second Maldon Shanty Festival and will feature Shanty Groups form across the South East. The event takes place around the Hythe Quay at various venues and in the Promenade Park. The Festival starts at 12 noon and runs to 5;30 pm followed by a concert in St. Mary’s Church between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

Steam Tug Brent
