Thames Sailing Barge Trust Maldon Shanty Festival

A traditional sailing boat with large red sails navigates through calm waters under a cloudy sky, surrounded by other vessels.

This is the second Maldon Shanty Festival and will feature Shanty Groups form across the South East. The event takes place around the Hythe Quay at various venues and in the Promenade Park. The Festival starts at 12 noon and runs to 5;30 pm followed by a concert in St. Mary’s Church between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm. The Festival is free but donations all be accepted on the day with all profits going to the Thames Sailing Barge Trust.
