This is a long, linear walk along the scenic River Crouch, using the train service to return to the start. The views of the river and landscape are breathtaking along the way. Walk Highlight: The expansive views of the Crouch valley from the top of Butts Cliff, which is regarded by geologists to be one of the most important London Clay sites in Britain. This is a challenging walk of 10.2 miles.
