Maldon District Council via the Maldon District Tourism Group is working with Kingfisher Visitor Guides to produce an exceptional new Maldon District visitor guide to serve as a comprehensive resource for visitors and locals alike.
The guide will highlight the district’s must-see attractions and showcase its unique culture, history, and natural beauty through stunning visuals, informative content and insider tips. Available as a printed guide available in accommodation for overnight visitors to look at during their stay, as well as in digital format that they can take away, it presents a fantastic opportunity for local businesses. You can see examples of the guide at https://kingfishervisitorguides.com/visitor-guides/
If you operate any kind of visitor accommodation and would like to provide your customers with this high-quality guide free of charge, please get in touch at tourism@maldon.gov.uk to ensure we have you on our list. If you are a tourism attraction, hospitality business or venue and are interested in advertising in the new guide please also get in touch. Kingfisher will also be contacting local businesses to invite them to appear in this officially endorsed guide, so don’t be surprised to receive an email or phonecall.
Our events page is one of the most popular pages on our website, and includes events across the Maldon District.

The 'Sense of Place' Branding captures the essence of the area and is at the heart of how we are going to put ourselves 'on the map'. The District Branding allows you to celebrate being part of the Maldon District. It includes themes, photography, graphic languages and colour palettes, all inspired and drawn from the Maldon District. They are freely available to businesses, stakeholders and groups based in the Maldon District on the We Are Maldon District webpages.
Maldon District Council would love to discuss your business needs and assist you to find the help you require.
