About

The parish church of St Mary and St Margaret is Grade II* Listed. The church chancel was built in the 14th century and the nave in the 15th century. A major refurbishment took place in 1870 at the same time that the adjoining school house was built. The north vestry was added in 1912 and rebuilt in 1950. The graves of several WW1 airmen who were stationed at Stow Maries Aerodrome can be found in the church graveyard.
