About

MADDS Presents Sleeping Beauty: The Pantomime. MADDS is excited to announce that this year’s Pantomime production will be… Sleeping Beauty! Script by Katrina and Nathan Rowland and directed by Emma Loring.

This wonderful story follows the life of Princess Aurora who was cursed at her christening by an evil Fairy, cursed to prick her finger on a spindle and die on her 18th birthday, but the three good fairies saved the day by wishing Aurora to sleep for 100 years and await a prince to rescue her. The evil fairy nightshade will stop at nothing and ensures no one will ever rescue the princess and the entire kingdom, all of whom slipped into the same sleep. So, with the kingdom surrounded by an enchanted forest, it’s up to Prince Philip De Toblerone and his trusty stead Thunderclap to come and save the day. Can they do it? This magical story will take you on an adventure, so come along to cheer and boo our fabulous pantomime characters.

Sleeping Beauty will run from Friday 15 December to Sunday 17 December 2023 at Goldhanger Village Hall.
