Saturday Family Craft workshops at
the Maeldune Heritage Centre

Free to all - first come basis.
Times: 11.30am – 12.30pm, 1.00pm – 2.00pm, 2.30pm - 3.30pm

• 3rd August - Mayoral paperchain making - celebrate 150 years of Maldon's Mayoral chains by making your own.
• 10th August - Embroider/Embellish – inspired by the Maldon Embroidery, fashion your own textile art.
• 17th August - Rune Stone painting – using the Saxon writing system, create your own personalised Rune Stone.
• 24th August - Cyanotype leaf printing – using photosensitive paper, create your silhouettes in the sun using found objects and cutouts.
• 31st August - Saxon leather bracelet making – using leather cords, beads and shells.

Indoor & Outdoor workshops – weather permitting
Children must be always supervised
