The community of Burnham is once again getting together to provide a Christmas lunch for anyone who would like to join in - whether you would be alone on Christmas Day or if you would rather join in something different with your family or friends.

Thanks to the generosity of the local community, the meal is completely free of charge, and transport can be arranged for anyone in the town who would otherwise not be able to attend.

The event takes place in the comfortable, modern building of Burnham-on-Crouch United Reformed Church (URC) which will be decorated with Christmas trees and lights, festive and welcoming for the occasion.

If possible, please prebook by phone or text, or sign up inside the church - but there will be plenty of food available to cater for walk-ins on the day, so everyone is very welcome to just turn up.

The organisers are still looking for some volunteers, including DBS-checked drivers, setting the table, serving meals and washing up. Anyone who would like to donate can so so at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/BurnhamXmasDinner or use the QR code on the poster.
