About

The shop is owned and run by members of the Bradwell-on-Sea community to serve the village and visitors and stocks a wide range of products including fresh bread baked by Golden Platter of Mayland and delivered daily Monday to Saturday. The shop also stocks The Secret Butcher meat and cheese ( from Burnham on Crouch), honey from Bradwell-on-Sea, fresh organic produce from Sarah Green at Tillingham (delivered on Fridays) and fresh cream cakes by Bow Beautiful in St Lawrence (delivered Friday morning), along with general groceries and provisions.

We have a tea and coffee machine so that people can take a pit stop and take a break from their walks in the room at the back of the shop, and if you fancy something hot we cook sausage rolls and pasties first thing in the morning too, five days a week.

The Community Shop also runs a “Meet up Mondays” group for the elderly / those alone and in need of company that takes place at the cafe in the car park of Bradwell Marina.
