About

Well known historian, Adrian Wright, will give an illustrated presentation which considers earthquakes on a world scale including large events in Assam, Alaska and New Zealand as well as the much smaller one in Victorian Essex with its impact on the Maldon area.  The way in which geological research in the 1960s led to a breakthrough in our understanding of these earth movements is examined.

Pre-registration is extremely important as entry on the door cannot be guaranteed. Members or members of the public need to contact either maldonsociety@aol.com or call Dorreen on 01621 853428.
