About

Re-Cycle is an Essex charity that saves bicycles from going into landfill and restores them for those who need them. Donated bikes are either repaired and sent to Africa or to needy groups in the UK such as homeless people who are able to benefit from cycling, or are repaired and restored for sale in the UK to raise money for the charity.

Used cycles, in any condition, can be dropped to the car wash seven days a week, from 8am to 6pm, to be taken to the Colchester headquarters for repair. You can also visit the warehouse if you are interested in buying a secondhand adults or child's bike and helping raise money for a good cause.
